What you'll do:
Act as primary contact and liaison for OA and worksite personnel staff regarding garnishments, supplemental check requests, SAM II entries, overfill requests, and acting capacity assignments.
Provide cross-divisional personnel related services, such as providing direction, training, and support to worksite personnel, resolution of personnel issues, and ensuring compliance with agency policy and applicable state/federal law, rules, and/or regulations.
Process payroll accounting adjustments in SAM II, including leave of absence adjustments, and annual/cyclical comp payouts.
Lead administrator for ETA and TimeClockPlus.
Receive and process requests for security access to the HR systems. Maintain security access for all applicable staff. Review OA security website monthly for security changes to be processed.
Prepare and review audit reports, and coordinate with worksite personnel. Report any significant or ongoing issues to the Assistant Personnel Director. Maintain and file reports accordingly.
Receive notification of overpayment/underpayment, provide technical instruction to worksite personnel for corrective action. Gather supporting documentation and prepare correspondence/calculations for Personnel Director and Deputy Director approval. Coordinate repayments in accordance with OA procedures.
Relay results of processed Personnel Description Questionnaires and/or Position Action Forms to appropriate personnel staff to process.
All you need for success:
Minimum Qualifications:
Three or more years of experience as a Human Resources Assistant with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; AND possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency OR
Four or more years of Administrative Office Support Assistant experience with primary focus in human resources/personnel administration in a State agency with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; AND possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency OR
Two or more years of Executive I experience with primary focus in human resources/personnel administration in a State agency with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System; AND possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency OR
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 24 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Business, Public, or Personnel Administration; Industrial and Labor Relations; Psychology; Statistics; or a closely related field
(Human resources/personnel administration (non-clerical) experience with primary focus involving position classification, recruitment, selection, compensation, and/or professional development training in management, supervision, performance appraisal, and related personnel courses may substitute on a year-for-year basis for deficiencies in the required education)
