This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes the Registered Pharmacy Technician Training Program within 6 months of hire date.
- Performs clerical and technical functions for the pharmacist.
- Types labels or makes entries into the computer system, including prescription information.
- Fills medication orders for pharmacist verification.
- Performs cashier function including end of the day processing and bank deposits.
- Participate in patient drug assistance program processing
- Participates in internal quality improvement programs
- Interacts with patients and staff in a pleasant and professional manner.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years customer service
CERTIFICATE AND LICENSES
- Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration within 6 months of hire
EXPECTATIONS
- Continued employment at Aza Health for 6 months after successful completion of the Register Pharmacy Technician Training program or repayment of associated fees.
