Position Description:
Harmonic is a world class workflow solutions consulting firm dedicated to enhancing the bottom line of its customers through automation and system integration. Through our AppTech team, we build quality App Based and Web Based interfaces with an eye towards modern UI/UX practices. We leverage many different platforms for our project including PHP/Laravel, ReactJS ,ReactNative, VueJS, and Vanilla JS. We also integrate against a wide variety of backend databases such as MySQL, Mongo, SQL Server and FileMaker / Claris.

Through our LowCode team, we are experts at integrating FileMaker into any environment. We bring significant experience in core development and integration, virtual computing integration, external database integration via ESS and other technologies, Web integration with FileMaker as the server via PHP, API, etc., web and web services integration with FileMaker as the client, external systems integration such as accounting (especially Quickbooks, but including many others), EDI, and other proprietary formats.

Located in Dallas, with clients throughout the nation.

Skills:

• expertise in and significant experience with PHP/Laravel
• expertise in understanding and utilizing new APIs
• expertise in and significant experience with relational databases
• experience with GIT, GitLab experience would be nice
• experience with MySQL is important
• familiarity with SQL Server would be nice
• familiarity with React, vanilla JS and/or other JS frameworks would be nice
• familiarity with UI/UX design would be nice
• familiarity with working with, creating and deploying Docker containers would be nice
• familiarity with building unit/feature/integration tests would be nice
• familiarity with FileMaker Pro would be nice

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create, Plan and Maintain backend and middle layer structures for a wide variety of projects
• Analyze and Execute solutions for a wide variety of customer systems with a varying amount of documentation
• Collaborate, communicate and co-work with other team members subject to the needs of a given project
• Provide continued support for various Harmonic projects
• Build, Code and Script on small and large projects independently
• Be prepared to help assess and lend architectural support for the needs of a given project or solution
