The Shrine of St. Anne Catholic School is a dynamic K-8 school in the heart of Olde Town Arvada and is seeking a candidate to teach Physical Education and Health to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. This is a part time, 3 day a week teaching position, with the possibility of added duties to make the candidate benefits eligible.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Practicing Catholic

Valid Colorado Teaching License (preferred)

Teaching Experience (preferred)

The Physical Education teacher will be required to love teaching children, have a joy for learning, set high expectations for student learning and behavior, and prioritize student development in physical literacy and fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, sport specific skills, and the formation of the whole child, which is in alignment with the mission of our Catholic school.

Job duties: Lesson plan in order to provide physical challenge and comprehensive learning for students, implement varied pedagogical strategies and strong classroom management, maintain an electronic gradebook, report cards, maintain clear communication with students and parents, collaborate with other teachers, assist in other areas of daily school life, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
