Job description
Under the direction of the ABCM Therapy Consultant / Team Leader:
- Evaluates and treats patients and communicates with families, physicians, and other health team members
- Maintains documentation of services in patient medical records
- Provides team members with in-service education and training in restorative and maintenance therapy techniques on an ongoing basis
- Supervises therapy assistants as required by Iowa licensure
- Functions within the parameters of the care center as set by the Administrator
Qualifications:
- Graduate of APTA accredited program and licensed by the Iowa Board of Physical Therapy
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
- Must possess outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable
