Physical Therapy Aide
Job description
This is a highly educational environment in a busy, family oriented outpatient physical therapy clinic with several specialties. A bachelors degree in exercise science, kinesiology, general sciences, PE or a pre-physical therapy emphasis is preferred. Students finishing up their degrees in preparation for applying for DPT school are also encouraged to apply and will be given preference over other applicants. A strong desire to learn about out- patient manual therapy, exercise prescription, sports medicine and rehabilitation are also preferred. The job involves front office administration, patient intake, phone answering, scheduling, computer work, patient exercise direction and demonstration, clinic cleaning, assisting with laundry, and room turnover.'
