Job description
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10 & CPT codes.
- The ability to read and code from Op Reports, Pathology Reports, Progress Notes.
- The ability to discuss and advise on coding with physicians
- Familiarity with office, hospital, and procedure billing.
- Organization, speed, and accuracy are crucial for this role.
- CPC & E-Clinical Works experience preferred, minimum of two years experience required.
- Timely submission of medical claims.
- Review claims claims for prebilling alerts.
- Follow up for claim status, claims rejections, and submit appeals.
- Understanding of EOBs, Remittance Advice, and ERAs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
