Job description
As a Platform Engineer on Managed File trasnsfer you will be responsible for leading, influencing Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform support team and managing the end-end operational environment. In this role, you will be responsible for installation, administration, configuration, maintenance and support of MFT platform, including managing our MFT vendor partner. You will be responsible for maturing implementation of the MFT platform, and to maintain a highly secure and reliable operational environment. Additionally, you will be responsible to provide support and escalation 24/7. You will be current in MFT and FTP best practices and apply them to the environment to continuously improve performance, scalability, and capacity of the environment.
This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact and to define platform technology roadmaps. This leadership role requires extensive experience and is hands-on along with requiring the candidate to lead and influence a small team. The candidate will act as a thought leader and interface with Architecture and Engineering teams, IT Security, and Production Operations to design and implement transformational improvements.
