You will be directly working and handling our pet guests and take pride in the cleanliness of our facility. This is not a job where you get to sit around and play with dogs all day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in rotating dogs in and out of playgroup throughout the day.
- Check pet guests in and out.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.
- Prepare meals for all pets in our care.
- Supervise and monitor playgroup to ensure a safe and fun environment for dogs.
- Clean suites daily (including changing cat litter boxes).
- Maintaining our indoor dog play area clean and sanitized (A lot of poop!).
- Laundry.
- Maintaining general cleanliness of the facility.
- Communicating with fellow teammates about needs and any changes in routine.
- Administer medications (including injections).
- Entering notes into software (training provided).
- Take dogs to the downstairs vet clinic as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience around dogs and cats preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to be on your feet for multiple hours at a time.
- Capable of doing extensive cleaning and laundry.
- Ability to communicate with clients effectively and politely.
- PC familiarity.
- Acknowledging that our client's pets are their family and should be handled with extreme caution and care.

In addition to traditional full-service veterinary services—allergies and dermatology, dental care, spay and neuter, diagnostics, nutrition, surgery, wellness, and vaccinations—we also offer more complete care for your pets with cold-laser therapy, acupuncture, dog boarding, and cat boarding, as well as doggy play care for those dogs that need a little more playtime during the day.
