Responsibilities

• Create great experiences by treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner.
• Perform functions within the guest management, player rewards, and other custom computer systems to check guests in and out efficiently and accurately, update player rewards information, perform credit and cash transactions and authorizations, issue player cards, and more.
• Explain games, contests, drawings, and promotional giveaways to customers.
• Maintain strict confidential guidelines in all customer interactions and records.
• Prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, organize assignments.
• Read group resumes and know daily activities of groups.
• Complete shift closing, drop cash and check payments.
• Secure bank at all times.
• Offer bell assistance to all arriving and departing guests.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in customer service.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a state gaming license.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations to maintain the customer's goodwill.
• Understand the goals and vision of the organization, and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift or carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand 100% of the time.
• Exposure to high volume noise.
