Plumber Helper Job Summary

Our plumbing company is looking for a hard-working, dependable, can do attitude, Plumber Helper to support our Journeyman Plumber. This is NOT a Plumber Apprentice. In this role, you will assist our on-site team as needed, someone that shows initiative and jumps in where they see they are needed without being asked is key. You will have the opportunity to enter the Plumbing program if interested.

You help ensure that the proper tools are available for repairs, cut copper and PVC pipe according to blueprints, and drill holes for pipe installation. Our ideal candidate has manual dexterity, a strong familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools, and a willingness to take and follow directions from Journeyman Plumber.

Plumber Helper Duties and Responsibilities

· Ensure the proper tools for each job are available

· Measure and cut pipes

· Drill holes

· Clear drain blockages

· Provide other assistance to Journeyman plumber as needed

Plumber Helper Requirements and Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED certificate

· Basic tool knowledge

· Manual dexterity

· Willingness to take direction

· Flexible schedule

· Driver's license required

Job Location

We are based out of McMinnville, but work all over Yamhill County, Washington County and Marion County.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
