Job description
To prepare, package and deliver food to dine-in and carryout customers. Responsible for exhibiting a friendly, enthusiastic attitude while performing job assignments, showing a caring attitude for customers and fellow employees, and maintaining the company's operational quality and cleanliness standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Promotes Company Mission, Vision and Core Values.- Prepares and presents quality products at all times and maintains a neat and clean work area in accordance with brand standards.
- Maintains adequately stocked workstations, restocking as needed.
- Meets reasonable expectations established by the Operations Standards Manuals.
- Ability to learn in a fast paced environment.
- The ability to maintain cash variances at acceptable levels.
- Projects a professional appearance and a positive attitude at all times in the restaurant.
- Attends special meetings as scheduled by the Restaurant Manager.
- Adheres to all local health regulations, company policies and procedures, and brand standards.
- Completes all other job duties as requested
- Willingly assists without being asked
- Prepares, cooks and presents food to order following established company brand standards guidelines and recipe specifications
- Follows correct prepping procedures, utilizing prep charts; properly stores and rotates perishable stock
- Maintains proper food temperatures in accordance with brand standards, federal, state and local regulations
- Prepares special orders as requested
- Maintains stock to shift par levels
- Organizes and maintains work areas, coolers and storage areas
- Assists as needed with product inventory and deliveries
- Cleans and takes proper care of ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils and other equipment
- Adheres to all safe food handling principles
- Completes side work and deep cleaning assignments correctly and in a timely manner
- Possesses strong product and menu knowledge
- Monitors waste and other food cost controls
- Addresses complaints and concerns promptly in a courteous manner and notifies the supervisor of any issues
- Assists other team members as needed
- Provides prompt and courteous service and is cordial to all team members and guests
- Demonstrates safe cash handling procedures in accordance with policy and accurately completes cash, credit card, and discount transactions
- Suggestively sells and achieves guest check average targets

Must be able to observe and ensure product is prepared and presented to company Brand Standards Must have basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure.- Must meet any state, county or municipal regulation pertaining to heaIth risk concerns about food handling Meets Popeyes uniform and grooming standards and maintains them throughout the shift.
- Must be able to pass all required tests and training requirements for the position Must be able to work a flexible schedule , including holidays, nights and weekends Must possess excellent guest service skills.
- Must be dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions.
- Must possess reasonable ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.

- Sedentary/ Light/ medium/ heavy - (physical requirements of the job). Heavy Work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 15pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Constantly stand during serving customers and training.
- Frequently stoop to pick up supplies and trash.
- Consistently talk to fellow employees and customers.
Equipment:
- Fryers, batter tables, ovens, hot plates, steam wells, drink systems, corn carousels, cash registers , calculators, drive-thru communication systems, warmer lights, and filtering machines.
Environmental Conditions:
- The employee is subject to inside environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
- The employee is subject to both environmental conditions; work activities occur both inside and outside.
- The employee is subject to extreme cold; temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of time more than one hour.
- The employee is exposed to hazards, which includes a variety of physical conditions, such as moving mechanical parts, electrical current, and exposure to high heat of chemicals.
- The employee is subject to one or more of the following conditions: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gasses or poor ventilation.
