Job description
A postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Xiumei Huang, in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Indiana University School of Medicine at Indianapolis. Dr. Huang’s primary research goals and mission of her laboratory is directed toward understanding the mechanism of NQO1 bioactivatable drugs against NQO1+ cancers and how to exploit these drugs for tumor-selective personalized therapies. Her laboratory is also investigating the effects of the immune system (STING and checkpoint inhibitors) on the efficacy of NQO1 bioactivatable drugs. The research projects include mouse cancer xenograft model development, evaluating novel anticancer drugs and mechanistic characterizations. Ideal candidates will have excellent experimental expertise in cancer biology and orthotopic mouse models of cancer.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate or terminal degree required. Qualified applicants should have a Ph.D. in Biology/Biochemistry or related fields and be highly motivated, creative, proactive, and work well in a team environment.
