Universal Industries, Inc. is looking for an experienced Powder Coat Painter to work in our fast paced sheet metal manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Uses electrostatic spray system to paint piece parts, uses phosphatizing washdown system to clean and prep parts for paint.
• Completes maintenance procedures for all paint equipment which includes wash systems, bake oven, batch oven, paint booth and paint guns.
• Follows established procedures for accurate inventory control by correctly counting and identifying completed parts with required inventory stickers.
• Works with supervisor to set paint schedule to meet customer demands.
• Inspects mil thickness and regularly tests painted parts to verify paint cure.
• Delivers parts to appropriate inventory locations.

Requirements:

• Experience with powder coat paint

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
