Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher)
  • Work in a hybrid office and/or home environment; currently 100% remote
  • PowerBuilder Developer - Research legacy PowerBuilder source code to document the steps the application uses with data.
  • T-SQL Query Writing - Resource must have a high level of SQL query writing skills to write complex queries to pull data from a Sybase and MS SQL Server database.
    • Must have experience developing processes to extract and manipulate data to support data migration and data cleansing of application data.
  • Data Management - Must have experience in performing data profiling, data mapping, data manipulation, validation, and analysis.
  • Source Control - Must have experience working with source control technologies
  • Unit Testing - Must have experience documenting and performing unit testing to support program changes.
  • Documentation - Must have experience creating, updating, and maintaining documentation for programs, system specs, and flow diagrams.
  • Testing - Must be able to work with the client and/or Business Analyst to support test scenarios.
  • Production Support - Analyze and document identified problems to determine root cause and provide root cause analysis.
  • Change Management - Follow change management procedures and provide input to execute changes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or another computer related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Basic Knowledge/Understanding in Incident management/problem management handling official customer calls resolving abends (Batch and Non-Batch)
  • Basic Knowledge/Understanding of ITIL Service lifecycle Phases framework and best practices.
  • Knowledge/Understanding in Tracking the KPIs and preparing Weekly/monthly/annual Operations Report

Pay Transparency: Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
