Status: Full-Time/Exempt

Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $52,500.00 per year depending on education and experience.

As part of Operations and reporting to the Catalog Team Manager and Assistant Manager, the Data and Pricing Analyst will ensure products listed in the distributor's online catalogs and internal systems have enriched descriptions, indexing, and accurate pricing using sound business judgment.

Essential Functions

  • Publication of on-time product content to coincide with launches, catalogs, and promotions
  • Manage large spreadsheets and data files to format upon request.
  • Maintain product hierarchies, attributes, cross-sell opportunities, keywords in CMS systems
  • Work with Web, Marketing, Ops. and CS teams to support new, removed, and updated products
  • Identify improvements content enrichment process and be the point person for content issues

File review and publication (45% of Time)

  • Request and review supplier files
  • Analysis of missing data requirements and price information using excel
  • Scraping of content via web and third-party vendors
  • Request and merge related product content using Excel
  • Formatting of data files using Excel and other tools
  • Load, validate, and review content and price file in internal and external Databases

Internal Content management (45% of Time)

  • Review current product content
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and suppliers for catalog content enrichment

Process review and internal support (10% of Time)

  • Meet with internal teams to review tasks and requirements
  • Review and recommend process improvements for content and pricing management

Organizational Alignment

  • Reports to the Catalog Team Manager and Assistant Manager
  • Works closely with IT, Customer Service and Sales Teams

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional/warehouse office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Neta Scientific, Inc. normally is open for business from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You will be assigned a work schedule and you will be expected to begin and end work according to the schedule. To accommodate the needs of our business, at some point we may need to change individual work schedules on either a short-term or long-term basis.

Travel

No Travel Required.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in related activities
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and data management tools
  • Experience with distributor product content requirements and Content Management Systems
  • Understanding of basic database structures, and HTML
  • Good math, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
