Print Specialist (* Restricted)
Job description
Support NOVA and NOVA Printing Services by operating digital print equipment and fulfilling all printing orders. This is an entry to mid-level position.
Duties and Tasks:
- Operate digital printers, folder, GBC, cutter, slitter, shrink wrap and all other bindery equipment, including assembling bulk mail and utilize internal printing portal.
- Operate digital printers
- follow directions and utilize printing portal.
- Cut and mount all formats of signage,
- Follow and practice government OSHA safety guidelines
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite and email
- Good communication skills, including the ability to read, write and verbally communicate, are required for interacting with all levels of the college administration, facility staff, vendors.

- Working knowledge of copyright laws
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Some Experience working in a printing or mailing environment
- Valid Virginia Driver’s License
- Associate Degree
- Production digital print equipment experience
- Experience in professional print production services and operations
- Web to print software experience
- AAS Graphic Communications degree
- Xerox DocuTech Certification
