We are looking for a talented Product Development Engineer to join our Body Control Software Team.

The Body Control Software team develops software for vehicle features such as starting, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats. The candidate will be responsible for the software in a body module.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications or equivalent field of study or combination of education and experience
• 3+ years experience in embedded software design
• 3+ years experience with teamcenter VSEM, JIRA, Polarion, and Github experience required
• 3+ years experience with CANalyzer, AutoSAR, and Functional Safety required
• 3+ years experience in Matlab Simulink
• 3+ years experience of working understanding of CAN and LIN vehicle networks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management experience
• Knowledge of control theory and algorithm design
• Experience in working with, and / or for, an Electronic Control Manufacturer is desirable

What you will be able to do:

• Provide project management and technical leadership to the controls and electronics team Scope projects and identify resource requirements. Developing/reviewing project work plans
• Translate product requirements into control system specifications.
• Resolve issues and/or ambiguities found in specifications during the vehicle development cycle.
• Work with the FSS software team explaining software requirements
• Design state diagrams in Visio and develop Matlab Simulink models
• Work in Polarion to develop software implementation requirements
• Develop AutoSAR software components and generate ARXML with Davinci
• Conduct software design review with Suppliers
• Support vehicle launch
• Generate functional specifications
