Drives manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating and assuring compliance of systems, policies, and procedures.

• Effectively executes production schedules on assigned shift
• Establishes and maintains a presence on the shop floor
• Communicate, guide, coach, and support employees
• Ensures effective transition between shifts and efficient coordination and collaboration between departments
• Resolves material outages and discrepancies on assigned shift
• Ensures proper material utilization and communicates discrepancies
• Proper and timely disposition of resources
• Ensures accurate and timely reporting
• Resolves personnel problems by investigating the issue, identifying solutions and implementing appropriate action with assistance from the Production Manager and HR when appropriate
• Effectively resolves production problems on assigned shift
• Effectively garners and assigns appropriate resources to resolve immediate issues on the shift
• Ensures standard manufacturing operating procedures are adhered to:
  • Quality Systems/work instructions
  • Specific product requirements
  • Manufacturing parameters
• Drives continuous improvement and safety management activities
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel about housekeeping standards on the shift
• Participates with new employee onboarding and evaluations
• Other duties as assigned

• Associate degree in Leadership Management or relevant experience
• Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong problem-solving skills, data-driven and action oriented
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
• Ability to make sound decisions and act with urgency
