Production Stager
Position Summary/Objective of Job:
The Stager 1 Team Member is an entry-level position on the Staging team. The Stager 1s primary responsibility is to sticker paper products for the next day's run of production. If this staging isnt done correctly, production will come to a halt. The Stager 1 double-checks their own work before Stager 3 verifies and signs off on task. The Staging team goal is to have everything that is needed for production to run smoothly set up for when the Bake & Spin teams arrive, if the Staging team does their work correctly, the other teams are set up for success.
Essential Functions:
On an ongoing basis, first in/first out (FIFO) and pulling correct ingredients from dry storage, southside cooler, main freezer, and staging freezer.
Move product to southside cooler for thawing and assisting with downstacking.
Sticker 8ct boxes/tubs/lids for production.
Operate the Weidenhammer tub machine to assure Spin side always has tubs.
Prepare Spin team ingredients and get all pint cups, lids and tubs ready to go for when production starts.
Cross-trained in Spin to cover Spin team break rotations three times a day.
Additional Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following qualifications:
Prior experience working in food preparation or production preferred.
Knowledge and Critical Skills:
Fluency in English: reading, writing, speaking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
Critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Standing 75% of the time.
Walking 25% of the time.
Occasional to frequent bending, pushing, pulling.

The work environment is a confined space where spatial awareness is very important.
The work environment is loud due to the equipment.
The work environment is bright and well-lit.
A portion of time will be in the production room which is between 50-60 degrees.
Occasionally be in refrigerators 32-40 degrees and in freezers -15 to 0 degrees.
Room is occasionally wet when cleaning.
Occasionally strong scents & odors depending on ingredients and cleaning.
