Location: Goshen, NY
Hours: M-F 930 am to 6 pm
Rate of Pay: 22.00
OVERVIEW OF PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
We are looking for a dynamic program assistant to support the Youth Assertive Community Treatment (ACT Team). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing medical records; operating and coordinating the management information system; maintaining accounting and budget records/program expenditures; and performing reception activities (e.g. triaging calls and coordinating communication between program and people receiving services).
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Some of the key responsibilities and duties are:
- Support staff training
- Maintain programmatic records and schedules in an organized manner
- Attend meetings, take notes and minutes and record program action plans.
- Preparation and setup of meetings and accompanying documents.
- Manage daily programs and databases to be able to assist with and work on a daily basis entering interpreting and monitoring data (Share point, Cornerstone, Day Force, CAIRS, myEvolve-Electronic Medical Record, and Daily Management System dashboards).
- Be an energetic, outgoing, creative, and personable individual.
- Able to complete other assignments as needed.
- Flexible calm and effective under pressure.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Ability to run reports, type and prepare spreadsheets as needed, manage daily emails.
- Access OMH website for documents and have an understanding of regulations for the Youth ACT Team.
- Excellent administrative and clerical skills be able to multi-task.
- Excellent phone etiquette, able to manage multiple calendars, coordinate scheduling.
- Excellent computer skills. (Must be proficient with Microsoft Suite)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Will work comfortably in a team setting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service setting.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
- May be subjected to long-periods of sitting or standing
- Able to work in open space floor plan
- Work alongside co-workers and community members within 3 feet
