Program Manager
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Reports to: General Manager

The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, mapping, and holding contributing teams accountable to the project timelines across the various value streams of hardware and firmware engineering, software development, IT systems, web development, and more.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- forming strong relationships with internal teams across multiple operating companies and disciplines to understand and communicate the constraints and acceleration opportunities for the program.
- running program increment meetings and facilitate alignments between teams to overcome technical and procedural hurdles.
- working closely with product, marketing, sales, support, operations, customer experience and general management to align project timelines with business priorities.
- Providing project timeline updates to an executive audience
- Escalating issues and aligning teams to facilitate resolutions
- Making process optimization recommendations to contributing teams
- Identifying gaps in investment, communication, processes and providing support to achieving committed timelines
- Managing project and program progress in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Translating project and program opportunities and challenges into financial impact to inform decision making
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify feasibility and timelines of implementing new technologies, features, products, integrations, etc. based on project and resource availability.
- Informing key stakeholders of progress and/or changes to project timelines
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Program Management or Project Management with experience in SAFe and Gateway processes is a must
- Knowledge of physical access control, software, and the security industry is desirable
- Knowledge of mechanical door hardware is desirable
- Excellent presentation skills
Education and Experience
- BS Degree required in business, computer science, electrical or mechanical engineering or related disciplines. MBA preferred
- Interfacing with marketing and sales organizations required
- Partnership, alliance, and standard bodies experience highly preferred
Computer Skills and Certifications:
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Proficient in Miro
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows
- Desirable to be familiar with programming frameworks and environments
- SAFeĀ® Release Train Engineer (RTE) preferred
- SAFeĀ® Program Owner/ Program Manager preferred
- Other project management certifications (Agile, Lean Agile, or Scrum) preferred
Travel Requirements
- Travel and fieldwork including international travel; therefore, employee must possess or can acquire a valid Passport
- Travel up to 10%
