Infosys McCamish Systems––Senior Technical Architect – US

In the role of Senior Technical Architect, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Location for this position is Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:
Proactively contribute to all associated project work streams ensuring appropriate knowledge and information is exchanged to drive successful project outcomes. This includes (but is not limited to) life/annuity Product Build, Testing, Cutover and Service Transition.
Develop High Level Design for PAS customization
Review and Approve Low Level Designs
Train/Coach members on Life/Annuity product knowledge and PAS Architecture
Improve productivity by identifying/executing automation and process improvements

Mandatory Skills/Experience:
15+ years of experience in life insurance/annuity domain
Progress Technology knowledge
Experience with multiple life insurance/annuity Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
Very good understanding of Life Insurance terminology and Data Structures (such as the ACORD model)
Experience in designing/building applications for various insurance products (Term, Whole/Universal/Variable Universal Life, Fixed/variable Annuity, Payout/Structured Settlements and/or Disability)
Delivering with near-shore and off-shore teams

Desired Skills/Experience:
Prior experience on VPAS® Policy Administration System (PAS)
Prior experience with Policy Administration System (PAS) conversion
Experience in dealing with Legacy insurance applications
LOMA/CLU Certifications
Experience with Canadian life/annuity market
PROGRESS 4GL/AppServer/Database design and performance
Experience in Reinsurance platform
Insurance Compliance/Tax knowledge
Knowledge on Agent Compensation, New Business administration

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
