Job description
Our San Antonio office is looking for a engineer with a strong background in general civil/municipal services such as drainage, water and wastewater reconstruction with Central Texas Municipalities. Our preferred candidate will have 5+ years’ experience with an interest in managing project production, design, client management and budget oversight.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with design management including the management of multidiscipline engineering teams, meeting project schedules, budgets and quality objectives, assisting with financial forecasting, assignment of tasks and staff mentoring.
- Individual should be team and detailed oriented, with experience in managing the overall and comprehensive design and engineering design production process, design calculations and drawings, and accustomed to producing high quality work and lead the coordination of work with engineers and other disciplines.
- Will assist with client management but be the lead with clients in the areas of engineering products and deliverables.
- Will help identify and develop private and public clients as well as the preparation of proposals.
- Oversee the project design and quality assurance.
- Has a track record of the successful delivery of civil projects for local, state, and private clients.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ Years of experience
- BS Civil Engineering
- Licensed professional licensed engineer (PE) in Texas or ability to quickly obtain
- Effective communication and writing skills
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, GEOPAK
- Preferred experience in storm drainage software i.e. HEC-RAS, GEOPAK Drainage or other relevant software packages.
