POSITION SUMMARY
AXA Partners is an AXA transversal business unit offering a wide range of solutions Travel, Health and Insurance products. The Project Lead sits within the Transformation unit, a support function that works transversally with IT, Customer Experience, Claims, Finance, Networks, Commercial departments, and end users in the Claims and Operations departments. This is a position with some exposure to digital transformation, including but not limited to data exchange automation, chat/SMS/IVR bots, RPA, EDI or API integrations.
The project lead will oversee different aspects of the project management cycle on mid to large scale projects; from the discovery phase and process mapping to project execution being able to coordinate and follow up with working groups on outstanding tasks, to the coordination of UAT testing and release into production.
It is expected to understand technical requirements, be able to translate business requirements into technical user stories or Business Requirement Documents (BRDs). This role will be expected to ensure proper dissemination of updates and flow of communication between different stakeholders and developers takes place throughout the project.
DIMENSIONS OF ROLE
- Create and update project plans, by coordinating input from different stakeholders and departments.
- Execute business and digital projects, in coordination with IT squads, business owners and other departments.
- Support the different phases of the project, from discovery through prioritization, execution and release to production.
- Support business analysis functions during discovery phases by making use of Process improvement techniques.
- Elaborate user stories or BRDs with technical details based on business requirements.
- Lead working sessions with external vendors and clients.
- Enable communication and certain ceremonies between all parties on assigned projects.
- Support the analysis of Business Cases or Return of Investments on each project.
Your Profile
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Experience
- Degree in computer science Preferred.
- 1 years of experience in process mapping, writing BRDs with technical requirements, Business or Data Analysis. Required. 2 year of project management handling digital projects. Preferred
- A minimum of 5 years execution of to digital implementations or projects. Required.
- Familiarity with agile methodology – preferred.
Technical skills
- Minimum of mid-level competency in Microsoft applications (Visio, Excel) Required
- Knowledge on Process Improvement techniques (Process Mapping, Root cause analysis, SIPOC, Value stream mapping, ROI validation, etc). Preferred.
- Basic competency in Azure, Wrike or any other project management tool Required
- Basic understanding of RPA, BOTs or other automation tools Preferred.
