Position Summary: Project Manager

The Project Manager assumes accountability for monitoring and controlling project deadlines and budgets. This critical position manages the execution of a design to completion. It requires skills and understanding in several key areas- design, fabrication techniques, materials, accounting and communication. Proven experience in professional project management is a requirement, as is the ability to understand technical drawings. CAD experience and proficiency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, adjust and communicate project schedule, deliverables and time line
• Communicate with all departments to ensure project meets client expectations and stays on-time and within budget (verbal and written communication)
• Manage custom and portable projects both domestically and internationally
• Accurately estimate costs for projects
• Develop, distribute and update work orders
• Oversee production specific drawings and initiate all work
• Order all project materials, issue purchase orders and account for project costs and variances
• Manage subcontractors as needed
• Lead final project meetings and quality reviews

Key Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Exhibit or related industry
• Demonstrated technical skills in MS Office and understanding of CAD
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
• Experience in woodworking techniques, custom fabrication or exhibit construction
• Ability to travel as needed to sites for installation and dismantle
• Must be able to work independently and with team members in a fast-paced environment
