Project Manager I – Marketing / Business Management
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule – requiring the successful candidate to work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays.
- This position requires some evening work to accommodate calls and meetings (two times per week on average) with business stakeholders in our Asian markets.
Summary
Young Living is seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager is self-motivated and thrives in team settings. They are responsible for detailed planning and executing on international projects that supports Young Living APAC key initiatives. This includes managing many project plans with cross-functional team’s simultaneously to complete projects and ensure timely launches.
Essential Functions – What You’ll Get to Do
- Partners and coordinates with cross-functional teams, including Portfolio, Operations, Regulatory, R&D, Legal, and others, to scope, prioritize, advocate, timeline and manage all projects, or parts of projects, they are assigned for successful execution throughout the product development process.
- Ensure timelines, costs, and internal & outsourced resources are properly tracked for all projects.
- Collaborate with department management to understand resourcing needs or changes, global product initiatives, and priorities on a weekly or more basis.
- Delivers regular updates to keep cross-functional teams, project owners and management informed of project statuses.
- Conducts regular project retrospectives after delivering collateral on product launches or where necessary.
- Coordinates with the marketing team all translation communication needs including language and graphic design work for corporate teams, regional teams, and markets.
- Works with senior-level PMs to develop detailed project plans used to guide the execution and control of APAC projects. Leads teams to validate scope, key milestones, schedules, budgets, resource requirements and escalates risks and opportunities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed
- Organization, eagerness to learn, drive to accomplish tasks and projects, and a desire to improve efficiency and processes.
- Beginner/Intermediate: Project Management experience
- Beginner: Industry experience or basic understanding of direct sales/multi-level-marketing
- Beginner/Intermediate: Has experience with all Microsoft programs, as well as Project Management software experience, spreadsheets, etc.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Business Manager, Finance, or other related degree and/or relevant work experience
- 0-2+ years of related experience.
- Project Management Professional certification (CAPM or PMP), Agile, or Lean Six Sigma training is a plus, but is not required.
