Position
Louis Vuitton has an exciting career opportunity Project Manager Designer based out of our New York City office that will manage the design and construction of Louis Vuitton store projects in the Americas. This role will work closely with both corporate and regional teams to ensure coordination of all aspects of the project, including the direct control and responsibility of procurement, administrative and logistical matters. In partnership with the SVP, will be responsible for the hiring and managing of external consultants, contractors and vendors. Additionally, essential duties of the PMD include:
- Manage costs, scheduling and quality of projects throughout the entire process of planning and construction, working with finance and legal departments to finalize budgets and contracts.
- Work to create and promote design ideas consistent with the brand image. The proposed design will be followed through to costing and building.
- Create 3-D renderings of the proposed design for review.
- Visit construction sites and prepare reports, from setting-out to punch list completion and opening, to ensure quality of fit-out, identifying outstanding issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up
Profile
We are eager to speak to individuals with five-seven years of experience in Architectural design, with specific experience working on retail projects and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. The ideal candidate will be versatile in 3-D Studio Max, Rhino, Sketch-Up, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Excel, Word. You will possess high level communication, presentation and problem solving skills with an energetic and proactive attitude. Travel for this role accounts for 25-30% of the time.
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD$105,000 - $115,000 annually, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions. This position is located at our Louis Vuitton Corporate Office in NYC and honors the opportunity for a hybrid on-site schedule
