Will be part of the Ship Integration and Test, Aegis Customer / Projects In Service team supporting Camden, NJ AEGIS operations. Role includes Coordination planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects within area of assigned responsibility. Coordinate activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Job will require the following tasks:
  • Participation in the Technical Data Package (TDP) process for projects
  • Close interaction with Design engineering, Production, Management, LM Finance, LM Contracts and Government Customers
  • Occasional travel to SI&T locations in Bath, ME; Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Pascagoula, MS; San Diego, CA; and between LM campuses in the Southern NJ area
  • Support Lead Project Engineer in facilitating meeting both virtually and in-person with the Navy customer. This would also include meeting minutes and tracking actions to closure.
  • Support tracking and reviewing of Government furnished information (GFI).
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a Hybrid environment
  • Ability to develop and manage tracking tools in MS Excel to support scheduling, action item tracking and milestone requirements.
  • Ability to critically review technical documents for consistency and content flow.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with US Navy (AEGIS) or other military systems preferred.
  • Experience with technical document editing utilizing MS Office tool suites.
  • Functional familiarization with AutoCAD.
  • Project tracking and status reporting.
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with Military Specifications and Standards related to equipment on Navy Ships preferred.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
