Our company is seeking an experienced Property Management Director to oversee the operation of our management business. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in property management, specifically in managing co-op and condominium buildings, and have the ability to run the business from all aspects.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple co-op and condominium buildings, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective property management.
  • Hire, train, and manage building staff, including maintenance workers, front desk staff, and security personnel.
  • Develop and manage budgets for each building, ensuring that expenses are kept within budgeted amounts.
  • Communicate with building residents and board members, responding to inquiries and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents to the buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes, laws, and regulations.
  • Manage building insurance policies, including obtaining competitive bids and renewing policies as needed.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the buildings to identify any maintenance or repair issues that need to be addressed.
  • Prepare monthly and annual reports on building performance for senior management.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in property management, specifically in managing co-op and condominium buildings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of building codes, laws, and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
