This position will be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for Providers by successfully getting Provider contracted, credentialed and demographically loaded into Cigna-HealthSpring’s multiple systems. This will be accomplished through providing support to Network Operations staff to ensure best in class loading of contract data and acting as a subject matter expert of Provider onboarding, by providing excellent customer service and training.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for the creation of Provider contracts.
Responsible for the coordination and tracking of Provider credentialing.
Responsible for the loading of Provider data into multiple systems – i.e. claims, directory.
Act as a SME (subject matter expert) for HCP demographic loading into all Cigna-HealthSpring systems.
Provide support for questions and issues raised by staff and provide answers as quickly as possible - supporting the timeliness of the review or outreach.
Provide one-on-one training to individuals to drive performance and quality improvement.
Track issues and opportunities from matrix partners and provide feedback to those respective teams.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of healthcare provider networks, contracting and credentialing requirements, contracts, and terminology.
Experience with the Provider onboarding process, system applications, and procedures.
Ability and willingness to share knowledge and coach individuals w/ varying levels of experience.
Detail oriented, with proven time management and organization skills (including the ability to engage in multiple tasks and meet deadlines/standards).
Act with a sense of urgency to research questions or issues brought by the team. Identify the right parties or resources to resolve these issues. Follow up with these parties to drive resolution and provide on-going feedback to individual(s) who raised the question or issue.
Be a positive role model and have the ability to work independently and in conjunction with co-workers of all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Access.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 19 - 29 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
