Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking part-time Psych Tech candidates to join the clinical teams at the following programs:

• Crisis Recovery Unit (CRU): an adult residential mental health facility for men and women that operates 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Located in Layton, Utah.
• Davis County Receiving Center: a 23-72 hour alternative to inpatient hospitalization or incarceration that specializes in short-term crisis resolution. This facility provides observation, screening and social detoxification for police drop-offs, emergency department transfers and walk-in crisis services. The primary purpose of the Receiving Center is to provide a short length of stay and a focus on stabilizing the crisis and returning a person to community supports. Located in Farmington, Utah.
• Recovery Living
• Adult Mental Health

The following positions are currently available:

Davis County Receiving Center North (Currently in Farmington, Moving to Layton in the near future)

• Full-time Swing Shift: Saturday through Wednesday 4pm - 12am (Layton)
• Part-time Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday 7am - 3pm + 1-2 on-call shifts per week
• Part-time Graveyard Shift: Saturday, Sunday & Monday 11pm - 7am

Davis County Receiving Center South/Recovery Living (Farmington, Utah) Successful candidates will begin employment in Layton, Utah until Recovery Living program opens in the near future.

• Full-time Graveyard Shift: Monday 11pm through Saturday 7am (Shift is 11pm - 7am)
• Part-time Day Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7am - 3pm + 1-2 on-call shifts
• Part-time Day Shift: Saturday & Sunday 7am - 3pm + 1-2 on-call shifts
• Part-time Swing Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 3pm - 11pm + 1-2 on-call shifts
• Part-time Graveyard Shift: Saturday & Sunday 11pm - 7am + 1-2 on-call shifts.
• Part-time Graveyard Shift: Friday & Saturday 11pm - 7am + 1-2 on-call shifts

Adult Mental Health

• Respite Care Worker (Part-time)
• Medication Delivery Technician (Part-time)

Schedule
These positions are all classified as full-time or part-time, non-exempt. Full-time employees are expected to work 40 hours per week while part-time staff must work less than 30 hours per week.

The assigned schedule varies by position and is outlined in the job posting on the DBH Employment page.

Strong preference will be given to candidates who are bi-lingual English/Spanish; however, this is not a requirement. A Spanish-language incentive stipend is available for candidates who successfully pass a Spanish-language assessment upon hire.

Starting pay for the psych tech positions is $17.00 per hour at the Davis County Receiving Center and CRU due to the higher acuity of the clients at these facilities. The starting pay for the adult mental health positions is $16.00 per hour.

Required Experience

Minimum Requirements
All candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background screening and drug screening.

DBH utilizes an electronic medical health records system, so computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.

High school graduation and one year of full-time employment in a related clerical field. Microsoft Word and Outlook knowledge preferred. Typing a net of 35-40 wpm preferred but not mandatory.
