The role of a tutor.

• Work in small group sessions with students during school. These sessions will be in-person.
• Understand student learning gaps based on information given to you and teach district-provided curriculum that is tailored to each student’s need.
• Also assist with homework, projects, and other academic tasks.
• Foster strong and positive relationships with students through significant, consistent, and regular amounts of time.
• Evaluate and report student progress.
• Work in collaboration with classroom teachers and school administration, under the direct supervision of the Kelly® Education Tutoring Solutions Team.

Specific information about the Kelly® Education / Carver High School tutoring program in Winston-Salem, NC.

• Provide in-person tutoring sessions for high school students
• Work in small group sessions during the school day
• Schedule and subject: Math 1 & 3 – Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:30am – 3:30pm
• Start date is Monday, November 28h
• Compensation: $21-25/hour, weekly pay, perks offered

Minimum requirements.

• Associate’s Degree in related subject matter
• Previous math tutoring or teaching experience preferred
