Job Purpose: The Quality Assurance Auditor will review and validate the data and content for all personalized documents created by our Data Processing team. Working with customer requirements and instructions, the Quality Assurance Auditor will ensure accurate output in the field of direct marketing, printing services, and 1:1 marketing campaign management.

The Quality Assurance Auditor will:

  • Oversee day-to-day Quality Assurance for Data Processing
  • Ensure that all quality control procedures are followed
  • Understand how to read and interpret internal work orders and client requirements
  • Inspect output at key checkpoints in the data processing workflow to ensure that the output matches job ticket requirements and client instructions
  • Audit PDF proofs to verify data is populating correctly and business rules are followed, pursuant to client requirements
  • Have the ability to review both digital and hardcopy proofs
  • File verified paperwork after inspection
  • Make corrective action suggestions to the management team
  • Develop working knowledge of mail piece design, United States Postal Service (USPS) standards, and other key direct marketing industry idea and concepts
  • Develop understanding of high-volume, 4-color Variable Data Inkjet Printing
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Proactively identify quality issues and concerns
  • Communicate effectively with all departments

Qualifications:

  • 2- or 4-year college degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge of direct mail and marketing
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in project teams
  • Aptitude for learning new software systems
  • Knowledge of US Postal Service regulations
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, as well as to calculate rate, ratio, and percentage, and draw and interpret bar graphs

This position is located in our Hooksett, New Hampshire office and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment while demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. It requires the ability to work cooperatively with multiple departments in-house to champion the needs of your customer(s). It requires the ability to be accommodating, communicative yet firm when needed with Polaris Direct’s customers and partner suppliers. While this position offers a set schedule of Monday– Friday, 8am to 5pm, it also requires flexibility to change schedules or work overtime as needed during projects or campaigns that may require it. This position requires you to complete HIPAA certification and demonstrate full comprehension of your understanding of the importance of protecting client information. Additionally, this position requires you to be open to presenting creative ideas, accepting feedback, comfortable in a team environment, and resilient in the face of adversity.

Compensation and Benefits: Polaris Direct offers a comprehensive and industry competitive benefits package and 401K plan. Salary starting at $35,000.
