OBJECTIVES OF ENGAGEMENT-

PTC - Quality Control Lead

Though largely remote work, this position will require reporting to the commission headquarters during key phases of the project. No additional compensation for any travel required, and rate is inclusive of any travel costs.

The UBOS implementation has many facets to the implementation and the integrator is responsible only for part of the overall testing. This position will study and understand the complete set of UBOS business processes, then write, execute, coordinate, and document the end-to-end testing of all aspects of the UBOS system. This includes all processes and systems including the telephony, ACH, and Credit Card processes. This position will also play a leadership role in User Acceptance Testing for the differing parts of the UBOS implementation.

We are seeking a resource with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in as many of the following products/platforms/activities as possible:

* Developing and executing system testing scripts (not just software, but also for overall system implementations)

* Experience developing and hands on executing testing scripts for CRM, financials, Natural language IVR, real time payments, and telephony applications in a large-scale integrated solution for call center and back-office operations.

* MS Azure ADO for testing and quality

Position Duties:

This Candidate:

o must fully understand all UBOS end-to-end business processes

o shall perform hands-on review of test scripts provided from the vendor

o will be the person whose job will also entail to try and break the system before our customers run into issues.

o is to be the Quality Control and Overall Test Lead from the PTC Project Team working with the PTC’s QA Analyst plus with the System Integrator Test Lead and Testing Team

o will create Testing Scripts using the PTC’s templates, as needed

o will thoroughly review test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts prepared by System Integrator and advise the commission on the approval of any testing deliverable from the system integrator.

o will load and manage these testing scripts within the PTC ADO system

o will execute a portion of the test scripts as assigned by the PTC

o will schedule and provide training and support for User Acceptance Testing

o will track and report on the progress of the User Acceptance Testing

o will update testing results in ADO

o will lead and facilitate meetings with project team members

o will perform other related duties as assigned

o will be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and industry recognized Best Practices

o will ensure that the project team adheres to the principles, guidelines, and PTC QA/QC processes

o will monitor testing process and testing tool documentation to ensure information is up to date

o will attend requirements gathering and requirements review meetings to gain an understanding of the product to be tested

o will actively participate in business requirement and functional specification reviews

o will execute all aspects of quality assurance and testing to ensure the highest possible quality in software and other IT systems releases into the production environment

o will communicate clearly and work with project team to provide feedback on system, integration, regression, and UAT testing items, including security and data needs.

o will ensure procedures are followed with a high degree of quality in creating user stories, tasks, test cases, and bugs.

o will provide feedback for production deployment review relating to production deployments readiness.
