Quality Specialist Job Specific Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures related to provider credentialing and compliance and performance standards
- Researches licensing and certification standards for various provider types
- Performs credentialing and performance standard verification and follow-up
- Maintains files as well as a tracking system to ensure completeness of credentialing and performance standard files and currency of required provider credentials for the long-term care network
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in an administrative capacity in an insurance or long term care environment required. Credentialing experience highly preferred.
Education: Related post secondary course work/degree preferred. Related post secondary course work/degree preferred.
Travel: Occasional local travel, requiring use of personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of
required insurance coverage.
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
