What you'll do:
You'll join a high-performing team of dedicated Model Validators who review technical papers and capital, margin and pricing models submitted by financial institutions. As a Quantitative Associate, you'll validate conceptual model assessments and implementation, input data validation and perform backtesting and benchmark testing. You'll support our important regulatory mission by identifying model limitations and evaluating their materiality. With your team, you'll provide guidance to financial institutions regarding improvements in model design, implementation, output reporting, documentation and governance.

  • Two or more years of experience in quantitative areas, model validation, risk management at a financial institution, commodity or energy firm or regulatory agency
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematical finance, mathematics, statistics or related fields)
  • Detailed knowledge of OTC derivatives and underlying markets, pricing models, sensitivities, valuation methods and risk management measures
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with capital requirements and model risk management preferred
  • Familiarity with Dodd-Frank regulations a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
