As a Remote Sensing Scientist at Skyline, you’ll be working on the R&D for cutting edge mission focused problems in the electro-optical, Infrared, remote sensing, OPIR, and dynamic sensors industry. This is a position out of Dayton, Ohio in support of customers at Wright Patterson AFB.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and utilize image processing workflows
• Create algorithm and evaluate performance based on first principles physics
• Perform analytics research on multiple remote sensing platforms
• Create and present technical briefings and presentations
• Create innovative image processing techniques

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active TOP SECRET/SCI
• Bachelor’s degree in Image Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or in related fields and 5 years of experience
• Experience with remote sensing, image processing and/or digital signal processing
• Experience working with electro-optical imaging systems such as OPIR, Hyperspectral, or Multispectral platforms
• Ability to work independently or with a team
• Willing to relocate to the Dayton, Ohio area
• Experience with Python or Matlab

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Image Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or in related fields and 5 years of experience
• Experience integrating RADAR, LIDAR, SAR into workflows

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
