Are you ready for it?

We are looking for a Software Quality Manager who will be mainly responsible for driving the V&V phases and helping with the definition of software requirements of systems under development, within Luxottica R&D., with a deep focus on the Wearable products.
The resource should have experience on managing multiple projects, possess great analytical abilities and to be able to provide a solid guidance on the testing groups.
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate with all the stakeholders involved in the testing preparation and execution (both internal and external) in order to control status, risks, and mitigations. In addition, having a strong technical competency is essential to this role.
A successful candidate will have a technical background, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as, great project management and communication competencies.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

• Definition of System Requirements: Identify system requirements in measurable way in order to simplify the test case definitions and emphasize the acceptance criteria to be used in the verification and validation plan
• Definition of Use Cases: Define use cases of system in normal and alternative conditions of use of the system.
• Definition of Verification and Validation Plan: Develop a testing plan which could include all functional requirements mainly by covered software
• Definition of Test Procedures: Develop the Test Procedures List, and relevant Coverage Matrix
• Execution of Tests Procedures Test procedures list execution

PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

You know you are a Luxottican when you recognize yourself in our 4 characteristics (imaginative, passionate, entrepreneurial, simple and fast) and you have:

• 3-4 years of experience in similar roles, mainly related to V&V / SW Quality / Test Lead or Manager. Preferred experience in leading and executing integration/system/acceptance tests of Android/Linux embedded systems; configuring and using automated test and SW quality tools
• Strong familiarity with SW quality documentation including requirements specifications, test plans and reports, configuration plans, etc.
• Strong familiarity with SW configuration management tools and workflows (e.g. Git / Gitflow)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, Agile practices and software tools
• Extreme passion for digital world and new technologies
• Great ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences at all organizational levels
• Strong analytical skills: you bring structure and quickly find the core problem
• Ability to interact with multiple groups to gather information and gain consensus on goals;
• Superior prioritizing, and time-management skills,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Team working skills with a strong ‘can do’ mentality able to lead and support within projects in a way to realize strategic and complex change objectives.
