Position Summary: Responsible for handling varying types of incoming materials; interacts with carriers, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Manufacturing; maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity around the receiving dock and raw material warehouse.

This is a 1st shift position with core hours from 7am – 3pm, typically working Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required by overtime.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving and inspecting incoming raw materials
• Receiving and inspecting returned products
• Using computer hardware and software to generate labels and maintain equipment
• Using forklifts, as well as manual and electric pallet jacks, as needed
• Performing bi-weekly inventory checks on solvents
• Performing daily and weekly cleaning
• Managing unidentified or damaged products according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain available warehouse locations
• Assisting in labeling and packaging in the Shipping dept, as needed
• Assisting in others areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Obtain forklift certification upon hire
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data
• 50 lb lifting/carrying requirement
• 100 lb pushing/pulling requirement
• Climb 14 inches or 20 ladder rungs

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum 1 year experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures.
• SAP experience preferred
