Advanced Volumetric Alliance (AVA) is a volumetric off-site building manufacturer that creates entire buildings in a factory environment. AVA designs, engineers and manufactures industry-leading full volumetric modular units for the multi-family apartment and hospitality industries in the Upper-Midwest in a 180,000 ft2 state of the art facility in Albertville, Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

The AVA Recruiter will be responsible for seeking out quality candidates for non-exempt level positions of parent or subsidiary companies, confirming their qualifications, and placing them in open roles. Duties include sourcing candidates and inviting them to apply for a job, screening candidates through phone interviews, and filling out hiring paperwork by acting as a support system before and after hiring.


  • Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions

  • Conduct interviews via phone or in-person

  • Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews

  • Serve as contact person for questions from candidates

  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate

  • Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork including getting approval for offer details, preparing offer letters, and extending verbal offers

  • Initiate background check process and review issues with CHRO when necessary

  • Schedule or conduct new employee orientations/onboarding efforts

  • Report weekly on status of all candidates in the process and track employee referrals

  • Invest time and energy to become the applicant tracking system expert in Paychex

  • Build a strong personal network and initiate, support, and promote company on social media platforms by promoting company culture in support of recruiting efforts

  • Engage in analysis of current recruiting practices and provide feedback about what works well and what needs improvement

  • Additional duties as assigned.
