Today Mercury Wireless' rapidly expanding network is headquartered in Kansas City and provides Internet access to communities throughout five states across the Midwest.
Position Summary: The recruiter role drives all hiring and growth throughout all aspects and regions of the company. They should be professional in attitude and appearance and be prepared to be engaged with other team members. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers and other HR staff to cultivate best hiring practices, sourcing methods, job descriptions, posting practices, spending, and advertising strategies. The Recruiter will review applications and provide recommendations to hiring managers as well as assist hiring managers with scheduling pre-screens and interviews. They will assist with the processing and tracking of new hires to assure deadlines and start dates are accomplished according to both management and new hire flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain up to date knowledge of hiring needs.
- Ability to prioritize jobs by need to fill.
- Ability to be self-organized, keep track of reach outs, and have quick access to data when requested.
- Responsible for creation of search terminology through collaboration with hiring Management team and Human resources team.
- Responsible for creation of reach out templates for candidates on all platforms to convey necessary information and attract to positions.
- Accurate and precise reporting on feedback from candidates to hiring managers.
- Assist in posting best practices, including advertising, multi-platform posting, and unform formatting.
- Assist in pre-hire process to ensure onboard dates are accurately met.
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience with Office 365 applications including: Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on constructing reach out templates for candidates.
- Self-Organized and able to track numerous hires and progress daily.
- Identify skilled candidates through key search techniques and at a glance technique review of resumes.
- Ability to scan data for key words for extended periods of time/acute attention span.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a recruiter (preferred)
- Previous experience sourcing with Indeed, LinkedIn, or ZipRecruiter (preferred)
