ClearChoiceMD is seeking an experienced full-time Regional Medical Director for our state-of-the-art urgent care facilities based in the New Hampshire region.

Job Summary: The Regional Medical Director (RMD) position will provide leadership and will work in close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer and the Executive Director of Clinical Operations to ensure policies and standards are of the highest quality of medical care for our patients. The RMD may represent the regions external Joint venture and hospital partnerships ensuring regional consistency and communication with center providers and clinical staff.

In addition to these administrative duties, the licensed Regional Medical Director will maintain an active clinical presence in providing care for our urgent care patients.

Duties and Responsibilities: Regional Medical Director - tasks include but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Regional Manager and Lead Providers to:
  • Establish and maintain local urgent care center needs
  • Interpret center guidance and disseminate all clinical protocols and training modules to providers from Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director of Clinical Operations
  • Assist in addressing provider questions and concerns as they relate to clinical matters and bring them to the appropriate partners (i.e., CMO, CEO, Executive Director of Clinical Operations, HR)
• Conduct weekly meetings and charting audits with Lead Providers
• Assist with recruitment, training, and mentorship of new providers in the partnering centers/region.
• Optimize the overall financial performance of the center consistent with:
  • Obtaining and maintaining the highest level of patient satisfaction in the center
  • Staff retention and overall provider job satisfaction
  • Increased patient volume
  • Assuring timely charting completeness within the center
  • Assisting the Practice Manager in reviewing patient complaints as they pertain to clinical concerns
• Maintains confidentiality of all patient and employee information to all except the other designated employees.
• Responsible for representing their center/region in clinical meetings with the partnering hospitals’ practices to maintain a mutual partnership
• Attend scheduled ClearChoiceMD/CareWell Urgent Care Provider meetings to disseminate information to the other providers in the center/region
• Exemplify the CareWell/ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care mission, vision and values and act in accordance with the Policy & Procedures and Guidelines of CareWell/ClearChoiceMD Urgent Care including their partnering hospitals.
• Facilitate Annual Reviews in the center/region of providers which includes chart review/chart auditing

Education & Experience:

• Licensed Medical Provider (MD, DO) with emergency or urgent care experience
• Must have proven experience in leadership and or administrative role
• Prior experience as a medical director, preferred

Compensation Structure:

Supervisory Responsibility: Lead Providers in the assigned region report to this position. The position also oversees mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) in the region who report to the Lead Providers.

Work Environment: This job operates in a medical urgent care setting and includes possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medical preparations, and other conditions common to a clinic environment.

Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time salary position exempt from overtime.

Travel: Occasional travel to partnering hospitals and regional urgent care centers is required for this role.
