Job Summary:
Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community. Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit.

Minimum Qualifications:

Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.



Preferred Qualifications:

PACU experience preferred, minimum 2 years acute care pediatric setting. PALS upon completion of orientation.



Work Days:

Full-time (40 hours a week), Days Monday-Friday with on call responsibilities. Weekend and holiday rotation as required by bargaining agreements



Salary Range/Pay Rate:

Commensurate with Qualifications, based on acute care experience.
