Registered Nurse CVICU
Seasonal - PRN
Seasonal Program Runs July 31st - April 8, 2023
Base Pay Rate: $70/hr.
Work Schedule:
- PRN (must be flexible), shifts may vary based on the needs of the department
- All Seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.
- Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period
- During the course of the 36 week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by the dept. manager)
- Seasonal staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call - off.
- Shifts may be based on the needs of the department
- Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
- Current FT/PT and PRN Level 3 employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2022-2023.

Required Job Qualifications include:
- Associates Degree required
- Current license as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license is accepted.
- Current BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Must have a minimum of 1 year recent nursing experience in critical care or acute cardiovascular care area.
- Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests
