M Health Fairview is searching for a hardworking RN who is looking for an exciting career in our Intermediate Care Float Pool located at our Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN!

Schedule

This position is 60 hours per pay period, Day (7AM-7PM) and Night (7PM-7AM) rotation, 12 hour shifts with every third weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, delivers, and evaluates of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s).
• Performs these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
• Coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required

• MN RN License
• BLS and ACLS for Health Care Providers
• 1 year current medical/surgical with telemetry experience as an RN in an acute care hospital setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to problem solve effectively.

Preferred

• 1 year ICU or ED experience
• 6 months intermediate care or step-down acute care experience
• BSN
• Neuro and cardiac care experience
• Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC)

About The Unit

Are you seeking the opportunity to gain experience on multiple units? If so, then our Float Pool team is right for you! As a Critical Care Float Pool RN you will float to the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department. In a less frequent capacity you may float to Neuro, Cardiac Telemetry, Surgical, Orthopedic, Medical, Observation, and Oncology. You may have additional opportunity to cross train more areas if needs dictate.
