We're hiring a part-time Remittance/Mailroom Utility Specialist I to join our Team.

Responsibilities:
Check-in and sort remittance mail according to customer.
Open remittance mail utilizing mail extraction equipment.
Identify various transactional types to pre-sort and organize contents for processing through the remittance system based on pre-established batch types.
Key specific information from customer remittance stubs accurately and quickly.
Send remittance files to customer.
Process internal Mail Teller loan payments and deposits through remittance system.
Identify exceptions and forward to other departments for resolution/processing based on exception type.
Identify various transactional types to pre-sort and organize contents for processing through the remittance system based on pre-established batch types.
Perform other remittance scanning duties according to established procedures.
Rotate and securely dispose of expired departmental records.
Provide phone support for customers served by department including but not limited to initial customer set-up, user maintenance, deposit and balancing issues, scanner issues.
Drive to various post office and mail locations, pick up/deliver mail/packages/supplies, bring back to Operations Center for further sorting and delivery, adhering to driving laws representing Univest in a professional driving manner.
Sort interoffice, post office and other mail/packages to the proper recipients.
Deliver/pickup Operations Center mail at various locations throughout the building.
Answer loading dock and receiving door, sign for various mail/packages, sort/deliver items received to proper recipients
Pack courier bags for each location and organize according to pre-established run assignments, pack supplies as needed, unpack/sort courier bags according to destination.
Prepare various letters/packages for most efficient, cost effective mail methods including but not limited to USPS, Fedex and UPS. Log and track incoming/outgoing packages.
Maintain various mail equipment, advise supervisor, or call for service as necessary.
Prepare monthly mail reports for Accounting department as assigned.
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
Performs additional duties as required

HOURS:
Monday(or Tuesday after Bank Holiday) 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday 12:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday 12:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday 12:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Flexibility in scheduled hours is imperative due to the nature of the job.

Schedule may vary to coordinate necessary coverage during PTO and other absences.
Qualifications:


High School Diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 2 years item processing experience or equivalent required related education and experience
Excellent customer service, written/verbal communication, and telephone skills
Fundamental understanding of financial accounting concepts
Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize, and enter data quickly and accurately to meet deadlines
Ability to work under noisy, deadline driven conditions
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Advanced PC, Word, Excel skills, familiarity with Jack Henry, CRM, Synergy and remittance software
Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs
Candidate must have valid PA driver’s license.
