Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a FULLY REMOTE HPC Architect for an exciting job opportunity supporting the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. This is supporting a program that is fully-funded for the next 9 years. The HPC Architect will lead the design efforts for existing programs and well as program proposals for HPC solutions. This position is fully remote but will be operating based on Pacific Standard Time work hours.

Responsibilities for the HPC Architect:

• Design and analyze requirements, assess alternative solutions, and integration technologies and capabilities to support the client and meet customer needs.
• Design architect for new and existing HPC Systems to include computer, interconnect, and storage components.
• Develop test plans and procedures, stay up-to-date with HPC trends, and provide hands-on experience ande support.

Required Qualifications for the HPC Architect:

• Strong hands-on experience with HPC systems and Portable Batch Systems (PBS)
• Development experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be eligible for Public Trust

Compensation for the HPC Architect include:

• Compensation: $130,000-155,000 **depending on experience**
