Job Description
Summary
This position will serve as the coordinator of several safety statewide safety programs, implemented through the Missouri Partners in Prevention statewide coalition. This project coordinator is funded with grant funding from the Missouri Department of Transportation to implement four grant-funded statewide projects: the SMART online training program for servers and sellers of alcohol, the CHEERS designated driver incentive program implemented at bars/restaurants, the Drive Safe Drive Smart college student safe driving education program, the Party Safe online training, and the CBP and Y1CBP programs. The coordinator will serve as a liaison to liquor license holders and their employees at establishments across Missouri as well as Missouri's college campuses in order to fully implement these projects. The program coordinator will also serve as project staff on several other grant funded projects for Missouri Partners in Prevention, including the Statewide Opioid Response grant and the Collegiate Recovery Statewide program, MACRO. This position impacts campus health and safety professionals at 24 campuses in Missouri and liquor license holders and their employees in Missouri.
Essential Duties
- Serve as program coordinator and project manager of the Missouri Department of Transportation funded SMART statewide server training, CHEERS to the Designated Driver program, serving all liquor licenses in the State of Missouri
- Implement college student centered social media, marketing, and training efforts such as the Drive Safe Drive Smart media campaign, Party Safe Training, and the Year 1 College Behavior Profile, and College Behavior Profile for all higher education campuses in the State of Missouri.
- Maintain regular contact with the Partners in Prevention statewide coalition representatives and PIP administrative staff to assist campus communities to implement Missouri PIP grant initiatives.
- Complete monthly reports, including some fiscal reporting, for several grant projects of Missouri Partners in Prevention.
- Program coordinator and manager of the MoSafeRx opioid response grant and MACRO collegiate recovery program, serving campuses in Missouri Partners in Prevention.

Salary
$17.43 - $23.00 per hour; paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Shift
Anticipated Work Schedule
Monday - Friday; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m, some evenings, weekends and travel sometimes overnight.
This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, Business, Health Sciences, or Education, is preferred. Experience required for this position includes professional writing, social media and marketing, communications, customer service, and media outreach. Experience gained before a college degree was attained is appropriate. Use of SPSS, Excel, R, and other data analytics programs is preferred.
