Hamshaw Outdoor Power and Rental is a growing equipment rental and outdoor power equipment sales facility, part of the Hamshaw Lumber family of businesses. We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of rental fleet equipment technician.Requirements: basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to learn how to operate and maintain numerous types of equipment. Attention to detail and a sense of urgency are a must. Typical duties include but are not limited to cleaning and inspecting equipment, oil, filter, and plug changes, customer service, and loading of equipment.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out simple one or two-step instructions
- Experience working in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
- Must take and pass pre-employment assessments.
- Work in outdoor / indoor conditions
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED).
Valid driver's license
The ability to work weekends, holidays, and special events
